What I love about anime soundtracks is that there’s always that one scene you attribute it to. For me, this one takes me back to the first movie where Kagome was possessed and attacked inuyasha

I liked a different version or arrangement of this when it was used in the third film, Swords of an Honorable Ruler. In the film OST it's titled Last Moments. When literally right before Tōga no Taishō dies in battle against his former vassal, Setsuna no Takemaruo saving his human wife, Izayoi named his second-born-son in that moment.


Tōga: "Live Long: ...Inuyasha."

Takemaru: "What is that?!"

Tōga: "The infant’s name. The child shall be called: Inuyasha..."
