If you are replacing spray nozzles, these R-VANs don't fully come into their own until you have replaced the entire set. Even a single spray nozzle can suck up much of your water pressure, leaving the rotaries underpowered. Once you've replaced all of your nozzles, these perform great, with very long throw distances if you need them. And, as everyone points out, they look cool in action.

Im in the process of switching over to R-vans on 6" pop ups. Im in Florida and we usually have a good amount of wind. These look a lot more wind resistant than misting style. I just installed 5 of the R-VAN1724 adjustable to test them out and so far loving them. Just ordered another 10 Once you adjust one or two and learn the system its so easy to adjust. Going to swap out the other ten and see how it goes but thinking these are going to be my go to sprinklers.

Trying to adjust from a quarter to a spray and am doing what is shown but will not go to half. I can adjust going left but not right. Any ideas?

according to the catalog with 3, 1bar pressure the R-VAN24 should be able to irrigate a 7m radius. out of your experience - could you confirm that?
or is that just some laboratory value under ideal conditions?

I wonder, does it water also the area near the nozzle. When you set it to lets say 3 or 4 meters will the first 1-2 meters still get enough water?

Is this the 22sa-Rvan or the 12sa-Rvan? Also do you know if the 22sa and 12sa have adjustable distance?
