In 2018 I found out I was pregnant. 20 years old. I told my boyfriend, he immediately told me to get an abortion. I knew I couldn't do it. He would beg me to "just think about it." I heard my baby's heartbeat at the doctors. That's a life. I knew she was a human being. I had her, my boyfriend and I broke up. She's turning 4 this week. Love her to death, wouldn't change a thing.

A pregnant woman is not forced to "give up" her womb for 9 months. SHE INVITED THE GUEST TO COME IN.

'Giving up your uterus for 9 months' when the whole purpose of the womb is to support your own baby's life. Your womb isn't used for anything else. Its actual function is to be used for 9 months as the cradle of a developing child, and it should be the safest place in the world.

It’s amazing that women use the argument of:” I consented to heterosexual sex, but not to this pregnancy.’ What happened if a man stood before a family court regarding child support and said, “ I consented to heterosexual sex with my ex, but did not consent to the pregnancy..so I should not have to pay child support.”? We would laugh and insist that the man impregnated his ex and is responsible for his child.

This also ignores that the uterus is designed to incubate a human life. That is its only purpose. A woman is not “giving up” your uterus. What a disjointed way to relate to your own body.

A woman giving up her uterus for 9 months?

What is the function of the uterus? The function is to house the baby as it develops into their human body. Therefore, the uterus is for the developing baby and not for the woman.
