Plant Shopping at Strictly Exotics Cactus Nursery (Insane Crests & Variegates!)

It's our first true cactus shopping video since spring! We had one weekend where we got a break from the horrendous record breaking summer heat and I took full advantage of it to explore a new cactus and succulent nursery called Strictly Exotics situated in northern Phoenix in a town called New River. The employee and owner were super friendly and kind and it was great getting to know another wonderful cactus & succulent nursery in the Phoenix area. They had one of the largest selections of crested and variegated cactus and succulents that I have ever seen at a brick and mortar nursery. This was a super fun trip and it felt good to finally be able to spend time outdoors without risking death.

Wow I wish I could go there and say I was sent by Cookie’s Cacti 🤩. That’s so cool, more rare plants are being made available to the public. I tried to get the unicorn horn cactus from overseas a few times but I’ve found it very sensitive to shipping. I’m going to have to wait until I see it around locally.
