Google really needs to work on smoothing out the transition from the main lens to the telephoto lens. It's extremely jarring compared with other phones.

Mic quality is miles better on the Pixel

Pixel is a dynamic range monster, more balanced photos from the Pixel. Although the iPhone photos are sharper and have a bit more details, video is where the iPhone dominates

I think it's amazing what these two companies have done with camera photography and computer processing. Little tiny lenses that produce DSLR type results. I mean these are just phones.

Pixel absolutely still king in photos. The HDR, dynamic range & potraits are the best. IPhone is too blown out in brightness in almost every photos. Pixel unfortunately still lacks in videos. The front lens can't even focus on the subject but the back camera is improved.

Omg! What happened to the Pixel “4K” video at 10:00!?! It looked more like 240p resolution. 😂

I have watched this video and also serval others like Max Tech's. I am viewing all the video on a sRGB calibrated IPS monitor, which I do Lightroom and photoshop on. The iPhone is easy to identify in Max Tech's blind test by its blue tint tone for the sky and yellow cast (inaccurate white balance) especially under medium to low light. Same result happens here in this Phandroid's video. Being a landscape photography enthusiast and having shot sunset quite a bit using my Sony A7 R3 full frame camera, I would say the pixel's photo at 5:13 at dusk is close to what human eye would see. In some iPhone 14 Pro's photo, its rendering is more saturated and pleasing (might not be accurate) without tuning.

I can tell i saw quite some reviews of the iphone vs pixel and all the images he is showing doesnt compare as other reviews. We can see the HDR is way better in pixel and reality is the HDR is too close in terms of results. I can argue that white balance of iphone is maybe not to cool for what we are used to. In fact we can just sit and say the HDR is better and its not. Theyre both great not as far as the other. I guess when someone has a little preference by one device we will try to get all good points. Reality is you still got 2 of the best cameras on a phone and they dont have a drastic difference as he show in the video and im a android user in fact a pixel 7 pro user. I used to be apple consumer but when i switch to pixel i was happy with the camera and 14 pro max gave me the same sensations.

The Pixel wins in the still camera department and the iPhone continues to dominate the video category.

I prefer Pixel results 80% of the time....but is definitely not perfect at all. I like the way the Iphone takes night shots darker and without sacrificing a sharp and clean picture just to blow out the darkness of dark places...🤷🏻‍♂️

El iPhone no distingue entre luces y sombras lava los colores woow, soy fotógrafo y me admiro de ese pixel que bien lo hace, valla los teléfonos están avanzando.

If Google managed to fix the video quality to match the iPhone standard, they will win the entire market and take the world by storm, that improvement is the only thing keeping iPhone users using apple, apple have had camera reliability for so long it gave apple the reputation they have now with the software and no android managed to match it, but pixel now beats iphone photos and they managed to show smoothness capabilities of android comparable to ios, they have to fix video recording reliability and quality, and they will definitely win a big market

The white balance of the iPhone has always been a problem.

What is up with the iPhone mic when taking video from the front camera? I noticed it sounded terrible in this video and on another comparison video as well. Is this a documented issue?
The pixel not only holds its own but it bests the iPhone in many of these comparisons, including video.

Just on the first few pictures the iPhone is blowing out the sky all over the place. The HDR on the pixel is on point ☝️ even the speaker is louder when your talking etc

9:51 I think you accidentally tapped on the background to focus on the Pixel7Pro before before capturing with the rear camera. Your face was completely out of focus while the background was in focus.

What happened, why Iphone takes better video and photo?

This is the first video comparison that I have seen where to me, the iPhone wins in both still photos and video. I did see one instance where the sky was blown out on the iPhone! But I hope apple can fix this! Because I can do without a telephoto beyond 3x, but blowing the sky out is inexcusable in a top flagship phone! I want to buy a 14 Pro Max, so please fix this in an update, Apple!👍
