Well when she gets to be 65 years old she can get a better educated understanding of what she is talking about and not until then. So if I earn 100 dollars an The Government Gets 90 dollars of The Money what’s left for me to pay for the car insurance and clothes and everything else that goes with working for nothing.

This is a very lopsided take on this issue . In France there were riots over raising the retirement age to 65. Meanwhile in Sheeple ‘Murica there actually people voting for a politician in Haley who works for the rich and actually wants to raise the age when one can get SS.

But we’ve seen this before : it’s the old GOP “ we are the fiscally sound party” . The same horse 💩 Reagan sold to people then exploded the deficit himself, “ borrowed” money from Social Security which was never paid back . The same GOP which gave the richest 1% in this country a TWO TRILLION dollar tax break in 17, on top of the massive tax break Bush gave them in the early 00s. Meanwhile it’s been proven that if you just make the rich pay their fair share of social security taxes, that IN ITSELF, will keep SS solvent for decades.

I am absolutely amazed people keep falling for this 💩 like Haley is selling .

And this “ news “ station sounds like Faux “ News” rather than as an objective surveyor of the subject . But, then, it’s corporate news so…can’t expect much from them

The retirement age was originally meant to be high enough so that only half of Americans lived long enough to receive SS. People now think they're entitled to it when that was never meant to be the case.

The age to receive social security should already be 77, if we had kept up with the average life expectancy like FDR would have wanted.
