People are facing a tough retirement. and it's even harder for workers to save due to low-paying jobs, inflation, and high rents. Now, middle-class Americans find it tough to own a home too, leaving them without a place to retire in.

I was a diesel mechanic and retired 6 months ago at 66.5 years old. I am so physically broken that I don't know how I made it working this long. Bad knee and shoulder that need surgery, and a bad back. There are alot of jobs that can't be worked by the elderly and those who work them need an earlier retirement. Thanks Bernie.

I'm curious to know best how people split their pay, how much of it goes into savings, spendings or investments, I earn around $120K per year but nothing to show for it yet.

Interestingly, I was just having this discussion with a close friend of mine. He has friends in Amsterdam. He asked his friend why he likes it there. The reply was: We work to live, not live to to work. We have been brain washed into working ourselves to death for the upper class. They all get the same health insurance. Time off for family events. Everyone has a job and is respected. Not spit on and living in some shit box. The government controls the mega rich and corporations not the mega rich controlling the government....notice the difference??
