Love your work. I do work like you in California. Just recently helped a person being sued by a debt collector, and plaintiff fought and refused to even do discovery but the day of trial, they were forced to bring the original creditor who brought the paperwork the plaintiff should of had. Bottom line, the individual/defendant won because original creditor failed to maintain the records, the amounts never added up, notices were defective and basically caught lying to the courts and the judge forced to yelled at the attorney representing the plaintiff due to his outburst he objected to the ruling and is now in court records case dismissed, judgement in favor of defendant. Knowledge is golden

If these third party interlopers bought your debt, then hasn't your debt been paid? Can they show a contract that you signed authorizing them to buy your debt and you having to pay them?

Thanks for the info. You said that the judge may say that you can go in back room and negotiate. Can part of that negotiation be removal of entries on you credit report? And, will judge recognize and record such removal in decision? Thanks
