Saga of Tanya the Evil follows a cruel, atheist businessman reincarnated as a young girl named Tanya in an alternate World War I-era Imperial Germany, where magic exists. Tanya's cold demeanor and magical talent quickly elevate her to a commanding position in the Imperial Army.

The series stands out due to the contrast between Tanya's innocent appearance and ruthless behavior. The second season, announced in June 2021 with a teaser narrated by Zettour, suggests escalating conflicts caused by the Empire's actions and hints that eliminating one officer, presumably Tanya, might resolve the issue.

And since it was announced, but no information was revealed, fans are curious to know when the 2nd season of the anime will be released.

Tanya, or the salary man, was not evil, but he was an atheist which is why God was annoyed with him. As a result God send him into a situation where he/she would ask for salvation from God. He became a helpless female orphan in a world which was about to enter a global war. Instead of suffering his/her expected fate Tanya skilfully used his/her knowledge and skills to gain a good, if dangerous, position in the imperial army. The original name of the story, Yōjo Senki, means war memoirs of a young women or girl. This would possibly not have much marketing pull in the English speaking world. I think they took a mini-arch in the story, when one of the imperial generals thinks Tanya is evil, into the name of the who story. It is a great anime, or manga or light novel.

If Mary Sue has hidden powers like Tanya, then I wouldn't be surprised if Mary was reincarnated from someone too and imagine if that was the guy he fired before he was pushed off the platform but they don't know each other's past identity like Aqua doesn't know Ruby is Sarina.

I have been reading the manga, I know it's not the source and some people don't care much about it but i think it's really good. And after reading what I can (the last 14 chapters have not been translated yet) There are things that I wish was covered in the anime and some of it feels like a lost opportunity. I still really like the anime but the manga has just a lot more time to breathe and go over more of the characters, That and there are some things the anime did do but the manga did better, like Tanya's breakdown in episode 11, in the manga (chapter 56) you can just feel the rage and pain just oozing out of Tanya like an open wound. Still I really want another season, after all without the anime I wouldn't even know about it or care enough to look into it in the first place. I should really read the Light novels.
