I'm so glad I didn't look at the ending before I beat the game so I could discover it for myself. I love the song and the ending. and the game

I never knew slime rancher would ever be this emotional for me. I never read my star mail but I decided to start. And then I saw all of Casey's romantic notes and I was like But after the starmail when he said he would play a song for Beatrix, it wouldn't be the first. I was like and then the cut scene happened. I was staring at my TV in awe, I almost broke my controller cause I was so mesmerized bye the music and the cut scene my Xbox controller almost fell out of my hand.

All I'm saying is, that I used to always think this game was just farming slimes and going on cool adventures. But, when you get to the cut scene. It pulls on your heart strings. I never thought this game could be cute, annoying, adventurous, and romantic all at the same time. Right after I got the scene, I immediately began to memorize the words. And now I know the whole song by heart. 7 is my new favorite number now too.

The first time I heard this, I was nearly on the verge of tears. It makes me think of me and my girlfriend having to separate for college, and how awful that will be for me if that happens.

This was so long ago. I know slime rancher like the back of my hand by now, but this ending still gets me in the feels. It’s that song that will never get old and will always make me emotional. When I got slime rancher in early access I never thought this would be how it turned out, I thought it would be just another indie game from a new studio. But this game has had a lasting impact on me and is very relevant today with a lot of my friends leaving my sight. I just wish I could go back to the time I messaged the group chat with “you hear bout’ slime rancher?”.

At first i thought this game was going to be another cheap game then after playing it made me so happy i played it. a loving family game with a even more heartful message and song

This ending made me cry as someone in a long distance relationship. I think we were…2 and a half years together when I first heard it? I don’t quite remember. But we’re going on six years and we’ve been engaged for a few weeks now

It’s still nice knowing that even if we’re thousands of miles apart, we can look up and know we’re seeing the same stars and moon.

This is not the first type of "1000 light years away" lyric ive seen, yet it is the absolute best. I love all of the lyric pop ups, from the font to the lyrics saying 'I love you' being red, and the heart as well. I have this song memorized in and out, and I still get teary-eyed up when I listen to this, not to mention crying when I first heard it in-game. Thank you Beatrix Lebeau, for the song lyrics, and thank you developers of Slime Rancher for a wonderful game and a more wonderful song!
