Frame Doubling Interpolation (SmoothVideo Project)

I know its difficult to see the difference on YouTube when you don't know what to look for that's why I suggest taking 5 minutes to install it and test it out.

It comes in an easy to install package compare to a more complicated way I used to use for this same kind of effect.

After watching it again in fullscreen and covering one side and taking turns, the right (On) side seemed smoother and higher resolution, left side seemed choppier, but i think now the left (Off) side does seem more realistic, and if this is only scaled down smaller example, then i can see how it impairs a movie watching experience, but still need a better example to get the 'soap opera' effect people talk of.

I think the difference is that the left has a discernible motion blur when movement occurs while the one on the right doesn't have the same type of motion because its smoothing the motion (aka soap opera effect). I like the vividness on the right one but its kind of buttery or plastic like because of the lack of motion idk its hard to describe. I feel like its more fake but the one on the left does seem flatter.

With smoothing effect, it looks much smoother (obviously, lol) and somewhat better, but very unnatural. When I watch it I have a feeling that physics isn't applied correctly on the car. But yeah, it looks great. xD I'm gonna try this software. Thanks for showing a demo, man.

best motion smoothing comparison, you can easily notice the difference. Right side looks like a freaking documentary lmao.

thanks, this solution worked for me. I unchecked GPU acceleration, restart, runs smooth. Then rechecked GPU accel, runs smooth. Guess it needs a reset to get going.

hello ! am searching for video player that can do it in real time 23 fps video into 60 fps video .

because on PC movies are unwatchable, so much choppy or jittering in "fast" scenes
