Literally the first video I've seen of this bike actually being ridden on YouTube and not just being talked about

I bought the KRT SE a week ago and it cost me $7100 USD out the door here in Texas. I just put a Leo Vince Corsa GP EVO exhaust on it and it sounds awesome. So the ninja 400 slip ons will work on these motorcycles as well.

Finally! I was starting to think this bike was just a myth. Everyone talks about it, but you never see a review.

I didn't know that TST was puttin' out great content like this! I have some TST parts on my current bike, so I'm definitely following your channel now!

Ok ok ... as an avid Ninja 400 fan with ALL the upgrades (yes, mostly from TST), I will confidently say - the face-lift of this bike makes me want it. If TST and others would provide the same upgrade-ability as they do for the 400, then i would gladly buy one. But im going to need that custom carbon fiber airbox w a stage 3 tune for sure. Not to mention a bright, flashing, and good-looking tail light, too, and a perfectly-tinted zero gravity windshield. Anything TST offers for the 400... offer it for this bike, and you will have convinced me to give my money away for 50 more cc.

I'm a Ninja 400 lover, but the design of the 500.. I love it so much more than the 400. And the fact that it's the same MRSP is amazing. Looking forward to getting one in the future, however I don't even have a permit or a good income yet :(
Not to mention the red you can get it in, that red makes it look so much better.

I do like the keyless feature. Just because you won’t have to worry about your keys scratching the tank. If you have your moto bike key attached to something.

I like your videos. You and I are about the same height and it helps to see what I would look like on a bike. Your impressions are spot on. You are not trying to sell for a manufacturer. 👍

Got an absolute steal on the 40th anniversary. Can’t wait to see the integrated tail light you guys come up with!

I went and checked out the Ninja 500 today, planning on buying one for my birthday in a few months....I'm not sure if you get the whitish silver colour in the USA but it looks so damn good!!...although I wish we got the black and red paint scheme here. We get black, white and the green, blue and white 40th anniversary edition.

So they made the 300, killed it shortly after the 400 .... Made the ( short lived from what you're saying ) 400, and then shortly the 500 which is really a 450 in CC ( yes there was a 500 prior to this one, I think up to 09 but I could be wrong ) and now killed the 400 🫤🤷🏻‍♂️.

I have not ridden a street bike in 20 years and never a sport bike. Got my permit today and looked at a couple of bikes in this range. Even being a bigger guy I am happy with the bike’s forgiveness of my mistakes. I was terrified hopping out on the street, but after putting on a couple miles told the dealership to not worry about delivering it. After 50 miles I already love it although after getting my license and getting used to riding I can see myself selling this in about a year for something bigger. Got mine in Metallic matte whitish silver.

Very good review! Living in Europe, I have the opposite situation when it comes to spare availability: Aprilia is the nearest manufacturer, thus the prices are VERY competitive (actually the cheapest in the 450 range) and part availability is excellent.

Enjoyed this video - good info. I’m looking forward to the dyno/track video next. But I think your price analysis is a bit misleading. The SE versions are listed at $6300 and provide a good value for what you get for an extra $1000. You’re comparing msrp of $10, 000 bikes with an inflated out the door price of a ninja 500. Equates to an apples to oranges comparison. I’m looking forward to getting my hands on one as a second bike. Currently have Versys X-300 with the ninja 300 engine in it and it’s a lot of fun. Been looking at the ninja 400 as a second toy, but after riding one, wasn’t convinced. The 500 in the SE version fixed each of the issues that I have with the 400 and I think it’s a great value - plan to grab one this summer. Thanks for being the first good riding video on YouTube of the Ninja 500.
