Thanks, I wasn't sure to get TS or TRS cables, and you explained why to get TRS in the comments. Much appreciated!

If you have 2 mono channels coming out of your keyboard you only need 2 TS cables going to to your Scarlett 2i2 not TRS

Great video, very easy to follow. What keyboard do you have? What DAW, and any eq or other plug ins? You get a great tone.

What can I do if my piano doesn’t have a L & R output and it only has a single port that says “Out”

Hey I've got a question: I currently have a keyboard that only has a stereo 6, 5mm output and the here shown scarlett interface with two line inputs. What cable would you suggest to connect the piano and the interface? I'm planning to record some piano pieces on stereo and as far as I have understood I would need a cable which goes from Stereo 6, 5mm to two 6, 5 mm Mono cables. Could you please help me out and confirm this / give an advice which cable would work best? Thanks in advance!

Hello, man! Thanks for the video, but could you help me with that:
I am now having a Yamaha Arius which i tried to record in line using a behringer audio interface. I use instrument cables (same i use for guitars) to connect it to the interface, and then a usb cable that goes into my PC to get the sound into the daw.
BUT
I still get some crapy sand-like noise in the background. What could be wrong? I've already tried numerous setups, and I am starting to flame out 😅
I would much appreciate any support

I have the other focusrite with only one mic section so does this work with only one cable?
