About This Video:
In this video you will see end to end scenario of Phase based Maintenance Process in SAP S/4HANA.This functionality has been introduced in S/4HANA 2021 and is available starting from this system version onwards.
The name ‘phase-based’ originates from the build of the process. It consists of 9 Phases like Initiation, Screening, Planning and others.
This maintenance model is available for S/4HANA on Premise and Cloud and it is delivered by Best Practices for Reactive Maintenance and Proactive Maintenance.
The process is almost fully covered by Fiori Applications.

In this video we will go through a real case scenario, covered by Phase-based maintenance.
We will see different user personas like Technician, Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Manager.

If possible, please provide the procedure for managing workflow for maintenance order app. The scenario activation and approval setting for maintenance order are completed on the configuration side. Using the manage workflow for maintenance order app, I created a workflow. But My inbox doesn't show any messages.

We are using SAP EWM for material management and are not fixing each material to only one bin location (we assign fixed bins to each material but a material can be transferred between bins and therefore have stock in multiple bins). Can we still find a way to consume materials by clicking "Post" in the work order level for attached components? Maybe by assigning a preferred bin for consumption somehow?

Very good presentation. Can you confir or make presentation for Proactive maintenance too. It is either generating notification or order. If we are generating order it is giving error that notification is in approval stage

Hi Sir, i was configuring this model my system. In configure overall status-Conditions, ther is a cloumn named "Link" in which there is default value and not able to edit it.
Default vale is "AND" but i want to use " OR" .How to do that?

Thanks for the video. It is very helpful. Do you have RSH activated in your demo system? I am trying to create a Team linked to my work center. But don't see any performance work center in the Teams and Responsibility apps. I would want to get the same view as what you have in the Perform Maintenance Jobs app, where I can also see the work linked to my team.

hi - this is really valuable, thanks for the post! I tried to get it working on a client sandbox, but failed because of lack of master data, and some things not enabled, so watching this video just to get an undertsnanding is great. just a question, do you think SAP will eable some of these phase features in SAP GUI? wodnering if there are plans for this, as it would certainly help businesses who are too used to SAP GUI to slowly transition to this 9 phase model by using GUI at first and then moving to SAP fiori

Hi, thanks for the wonderful blog and video. I have completed a full scenario of Phase model using standard order types YA01 and YA02.
I have a question, How to activate Phase model for other Order types, i have selected the check-box in Order type for Phase activation and also assigned Status profile for new order types, is there any other config to bring the new order type for Phase maintenance. I want to select this order type in Maintenance Plan, and once orders are created, i want this order type to follow phase process. Please help. Thanks in advance.
