Elas was my second commander deck, which I turned into a teysa deck for a while but have recently put elas at the helm once again. I'm a big fan of pursuing life gain as a payoff on its own, and Elas really lets you embody that. It's not the flashiest deck, but it feels damn good to play. You deal 25 or so damage to everyone over the course of the game, and gain most of that on top of your own life total, and by the end you're sitting on 80 or so health while everyone else has been whittled down to the low teens.
