I'm getting this error using Python 3.7 on Windows 7, and I have no .py files in this folder. So, this isn't the fix for me, apparently.

Idk if this will work for everyone but if you need a quick temporary solution, just open an existing program like he did and then open a new file from there, it worked for me.

The fix is easy: move your damn .py file to the same drive of your data and output location.

FIX for me on Windows: configure IDLE to "Run as Administrator".

I had the same error today. Did my head in as computers do. This worked but I found it was enough to just remove my .py files from the same folder as IDLE's file path. i.e. when I moved my Python programs to a folder on my Desktop it worked. I only have one drive on my PC so this is good for me. Maybe my 'fix' is just a coincidence but touch wood working for now. Thanks for the video.
