At the time, everyone thought Beukers was going to become what Caitlin Clark eventually became. UConn wanted Beukers the most, and Beukers also wanted to play for Geno. This is what happens, and it is what it is. Whoever dug or created this nothing controversy should be ashamed. No one is happier than Hawkeye Nation that Auriemma/UConn signed Paige Beukers instead of Caitlin Clark. And Clark loves and plays her heart out for Hawkeye Nation. Both players are magical and they are where they ought to be.

I think Caitlin is the best better in the world - But under the UCONN system, Caitlin most likely would not have the ball in her hands as frequently as she does in the Iowa System.
