I'm so glad it worked well for you. It is one of my favorite pieces of kit. Have had it through three years now. This past year I bought one for my USMC son before his latest deployment. I'm on the fence between this and the all in one coffee system. I noticed your alpha towel on the wall, I have been graced with one from adventure outdoors good vids.

This is a good press. I buy roasted Sumatra beans and grind them fresh. Bring the water to a boil, remove from the heat and let it sit for a minute. Stir in the grounds, wait about 4 minutes then press. Some of the best coffee ever!

What are some nesting possibilties for this pot (without the insert)? I wish Stanley included a stainless lid with this kit.

"It was a lot bigger than I thought" That's what my wife said on our third date. Sugar??? WTH? Real men like me use Hazelnut flavoring so we can say we don't use sugar. It does look like an excellent coffee press.
