this fig is under ripe. wait until the stem that connects to the fig starts to droop.

Everyone on here is talking about eating the fig wasp and I would like to point something out. You don’t have to worry about that unless you live in California. It really isn’t a big deal though

be careful not to get the sap on you, especially if its sunny out...you can get 3rd degree burns

That did not look ripe. Still had a few more days left it looks like. Still looked a bit juicy, but you want to wait until they really hang and they are pretty soft
