Guatam Kumar: Digital Storytelling at Mailman SPH

In March 2019, ten Columbia Mailman students participated in the Lerner Center for Public Health Promotion’s one-credit course, Digital Storytelling: Why Public Health Matters. Led by instructors from the non-profit organization, StoryCenter, students wrote first-person narratives about their public health passions and/or experiences. They turned these narratives into inspiring short videos that can be used for community mobilization, advocacy, and more.
