We often celebrate the musicians who die young. I'm so happy Eddie and Pearl Jam decided to live. We need them. Great music.

I will be 70 in June. I have loved many rock and roll bands. I found PJ in the early 90's and immediately fell in love with them. Thank you Pearl Jam. Just Breathe....

Some people have said Rock n Roll is DEAD! Pearl Jam is true proof that it’s not dead, it’s still alive.

It's so weird that we're watching our heroes die/grow old like Eddie, Layne, Chris Cornell, etc, on YouTube, like our parents watched The Beatles on Ed Sullivan VHS tapes.. Damn we're getting old..

The 80s taught me about shredding and style. The 90s taught me about heart and soul. The millennium, fk it all. Thank god for my musical heroes. Saved my life on so many occasions. I live thru song now In life and its been one hell of a journey. Just lost my mom and I'm returning to my roots for peace. God help me. Thank you to every single person that's played a role in this story so far, ✊❤🤘🤜🤛💪

I was just watching their performance of Jeremy from MTV unplugged in 92. It's really amazing we can watch someone's progression of life in mere seconds. Time is a strange thing. Love Pearl Jam.

So in PA 94 we had a blizzard and were stuck inside for days. I remember playing excite bike on Nintendo and listening to Pearl Jam nonstop. To go back to that time for just one hour would be blissful! Rock on PJ

You know you lived a good life when you reminisce over the way things were. PJ, AIC, STP, Nirvana, Soundgarden...the alternative rock soundtrack to my college years.

I love them for their authenticity, both in their music and as human beings...

Can't get Eddie Vedder than that.
