Open your Google Search results in a New Tab

If you do a lot of searching online (who doesn't?), you know how frustrating it is to have to keep going back and search again for the best site. Take a look at this video to see how to keep that search window open while you hunt for the best solution!

Thanks Terri, Found your video while searching for a way to turn off the "Open in a New Tab" setting (prefer my searches in the same tab). Not sure how it got set but glad I now know how to control that option.

But how do you get results from that FIRST search to come up in a new tab?

If you are still in business, you should update this video since it doesn't work in newer mozilla firefox (and no one in their right mind uses internet explorer, so...) :)

No "cog wheel" icon if upper right hand corner of my google page. I use Chrome as my browser.

Your video does not address this problem. It is outdated. Google updates through chrome appear to have removed the "cog wheel" from access.

why not just right click and click on open new window?
