See I'm really clever, and came up with the most genius method of knowing when to use either to or too in a sentence, which should be taught to everybody far and wide...
In your head, replace the word to/too with the short phonetic sound of 'tuh' instead... If you say tuh! in the sentence, and the sentence still works, then you write 'to'. If it doesn't work, then you write 'too' instead..
For example "I love tuh shop" works, so you write 'to' in the sentence. Whereas "I like country music tuh" and "I ate tuh much ice cream doesn't work, so you write 'too' in the sentence instead.
