ATC went from all-business to mom mode the instant she heard her voice crack. She reassured her, hit the mute button and called in reinforcements in the form of her flight instructor. Ive heard the entire audio and it will give u goose bumps to hear Maggie transition from a young girl in a perilous situation to a young girl who had the confidence and knowledge to work the problem and adapt the minute her instructor get on the radio. The instructor is a legend for keeping his tone matter of fact as he explained and reminded her how this would be a walk in the park. Everyone involved rolled like a legend that day, from the woman ATC, to her instructor, and ofcourse Maggie the pilot. I suggest anyone search online for the full audio, it will leave you fist pumping the air when she lands and walks a way like a little legend
