The euphoria alone I can’t imagine and relief, your mind goes through had to be heaven, that although the pain, discomfort and sacrifice of a arm that one having and keeping their Life your Brain had to respond with joy.

One thing that doesn't get brought up enough with this story is that this was all entirely his fault. Not to discredit the tragic and harrowing events he pushed through but with dangerous adventuring the number one rule is to bring someone with you and if that's not possible then at the very least tell someone what you are doing, where you are going and most importantly when you plan to return. If he had done one of these rescue could have been notified much sooner and possibly saved his arm too. Another thing that doesn't get mentioned often is that He had to be rescued on 2 separate occasions before this incident occurred because he didn't tell anyone. He's not a Hero, rather an example.
