Me and my friend started saving money three years ago and when we can drive we’re doing the whole thing We’ve saved about 1000 dollars so far

was on that route with my parents in 1957... Dad drove from Cleveland to Chicago and picked up the route there took 5 days to get to Los ANgles. It was soo hot..I will never forget it I was almost 11 then.

I say it's time to preserve it make the whole Road a national park but with any businesses that are still open on the route make them historical got to preserve Route 66
