The Noodle Dish That Built Wuhan

Before it became known as ground zero of a deadly coronavirus outbreak, Wuhan was the breakfast capital of China. The city is famous for its morning street stalls selling rice donuts, dumplings, and bean pies.

But the most famous dish is hot dry noodles, a hearty bowl of noodles topped with spicy sesame sauce. We met Daxiong, a Wuhan native who runs a noodle shop in New York, to learn how it’s made.

can we get the address of the noodle shop in queens? if you interview small business owners and their foods why not help them by telling people where they are located so we can try it. This doesn't help the community grow when you could help these pioneers out in a big way.

stop giving english name translation to chinese food, you tiao is you tiao, not fried dough sticks, you don't see mexican food being renamed as the english translation. Same reasoning like calling kebabs as kebabs and not meat on skewers

Love my chinese friends and wish for more of them to adopt a vegan diet (as I do for all cultures) - 7 billion people wanting to eat the animals we ‘share’ the planet with every day is unhealthy, inhumane, and unsustainable.
