Seems like a good video but I put my cell number in and DID NOT get a code sent to my phone! Can someone respond back to let me know what to do??? Says I need to register either my phone or tablet 1st??? Why does getting a code sent to your phone, equivalent to breakig into Fort Knox?

can anyone help me??? ... what happens if I never receive the verification code? ... when I go to the Telegram website from my laptop, ... Tele says that it has sent the verification code to my Tele phone app -- but I don't have a Tele phone app ... so I am not receiving the Tele verification code at all on my phone ... I used to have Tele and then it disappeared and now I can not get it back because no matter how many times I enter my phone number, I never receve that verification code .... can anyone help????
