How to Downgrade EVERY Version of GTA San Andreas to v1.0

The easiest guide to downgrade ALL versions of GTA SA to v1.0, which is best if you're going to mod the game. This includes downgrading the Steam version, Rockstar Games Launcher version and the DVD version to v1.0.

I remember my first san andreas copy on pc, it was a cracked version and I will never forget it was hoodlum, it came on a cd my father bought on a flea market, it was a long, long time ago, it even had a print of gta sa over it lol :D I never had issues with that version, my pc was an intel celeron 2.6ghz with some agp gpu that I don't even remember and probably 2gb of ddr ram, everything worked flawlessly, even samp, don't even remember having crashes, my pc was bad though, but as kid low fps wasn't an obstacle to having fun

There is a problem with the downgrader on Linux (Steam Deck). Files in audio\streams don't match the case of Steam's files, for example its "cutscene" instead of "CUTSCENE". On Linux this makes both files coexist, and it causes inability to start a new game (initial cutscene freezes). There are 3 files with this issue: cr, ds and cutscene.
For anyone having this issue, delete these original steam files and rename the provided files to uppercase.

Also a reminder that after installing and downgrading the game, delete the old desktop icon steam put there make a new one from the exe you provided from the downgrader. Otherwise your game will crash

Hello everyone, if anyone was wondering this video rly works, i downloaded gta sa from crack and everything was ok but there were minor bugs - it came out my version is not 1.0 so i used the instructions given for the CD version and its working so far
