Tents bivis hammocks and tarp shelters

Almost every time I post a video, I get asked about different types of shelters, why I choose the ones I use, etc. Here a look the differences of each kind and some info on the where's and why's I use each kind. Hope it helps.

That's a lot of shelters, at first I thought it was a homeless camp. I won't ask questions, I'll wait for the bivy video comes out. Those hawks... who woulda thought that mountain goat was a flatlander... lol

Can't beat a free standing tent like your eureka, easy set up and mobile. Been wanting to check out Gossemer Gears "One" Tent, with trekking pole, but still green behind the ears with that type of application; I'm sure once you get it down it gets easier.

Awesome, thanks for a tour of the "tools of the San Gabriels" I have pretty much seen them all in your videos over the years. Do your neighbors maybe think that you are a little kooky with a backyard full of tents? LOL! Take care my friend and enjoy the outdoors.

Great collection of shelters, which gives you loads of options. I have a canvas bell for the family but you must have a vehicle to carry it in/out, otherwise on my own I use tarps sleeping on the ground and under hammocks. Where in the world are?

You actually know more about this stuff than the so called experts. I've told you before that your product reviews are great. My favorite was from on top of iron mountain with the flashlight, that was epic!
