Always a blast getting to revive an old classic like this! The Duster turned out great and I can’t wait to see it back on the road!

Don’t forget to check out the NEW Yard Geek video released today!!! Have a great weekend!

You should ask the owner of this Duster to do a YouTube channel for his restoration. Would be awesome to watch!

Love the color!! I'm today's world cars are really only a handful of colors now. Black, grey, white, maybe a blue, or red. But you rarely see yellows or greens outside of super cars. I'd love to see these colors come back!

I always love seeing these old muscle cars in their original glory. That green was totally styling in the ‘70’s. Personally I love it, but then again I grew up in that era. The matching bench-style seats bring back memories. What a gem and what a transformation, Mitch!! You did a fabulous job bringing this 1973 time-capsule back to life. (Kudos for the nice retro music too).❤️

51 years is a long time ago. This car was a muscle classic in it's time. I really like the original color, the green is so cool. I'm sorry but I did laugh that you accidentally dropped the pressure washer wand. We have ALL broken tools at times. That interior was a true dust bowl. Smart to wear the mask. Glad to know this beauty can be running again soon with a couple of tweaks. I do like how the vinyl seats matched the exterior so well. I agree it was bleach on those carpets, I recognize that weird brown color from spilling bleach on a carpet once. The seats that wouldn't come out is unfortunate, but you still did a great job. The bucket pour was espresso this time. Loving your work with the steamer, great results. This was great to watch and you really restored a classic, so summer will be more fun for the owner. Have a great weekend Mitch. Now off to watch the yard geek video at least once more. 💜💜💜#Mike4Mayor.

My first car was a 1973 Plymouth duster, but in Jade Green. But this one’s so close that it was amazing watching you detail it. Brought back a lot of great memories.

How do you not love that 70s pea soup green? It’s a great color and car. Great job as always!

50 year old carpet was thicker and lasts longer than we get now in new cars! The upholstery came up wonderfully! And real chrome! Great job as always 😊

It looks so much better. Great job. Good to see cars this old still running. Glad the owner lives in Canada with those vinyl seats. Here in Florida - way to hot to sit on in the summer.

I inherited my grandfather's 1973 Plymouth Duster the same color exterior (except for the black on the hood) as this one. The interior was all green with black carpet. He bought it brand new in 1973. Mine had the 225 slant six. When I sold it in about 1999-2000 or so, it was in very good unrestored condition. I lived in Arizona at the time and the car had always been in Arizona. It still had the original wheels and wheel covers. I had to sell it because I needed the money and knew I would never get around to restoring it.

This was fun to watch, as my first car was a '74 Duster, in metallic forest green and white interior with bucket seats.

The color is what caught my eye, very nice, it's actually the reason i watched the entire episode, besides the fact your pretty sweet to look at yourself ❤ !!! 😊

I love seeing these older vehicles and the great work you always do. Nice to see another older vehicle be given another chance at life.

I love this shade of green. Car manufacturers need to get back to these 70s colors and do more color in the interiors than just grey, tan, or black. Some are doing red again but would be cool to see some greens or blues again.

My very first car was a 1973 Duster, very similar to the one in the video. Mine was also green -- but a dark, forest green, with a tiny bit of sparkle (and white pinstripes). The interior was whitish-beige vinyl. I bought it for $300 in 1990, and drove it up and down the west coast, and then across the country to New York City. I drove it daily in the city for a few years. It would have kept going if it weren't for the brakes, which were utterly shot. Young and broke, I couldn't afford to replace them. I shed a tear when they hauled her away :) Thanks for the trip down memory lane, and thanks for your channel. It's been on my "must watch" rotation for a while now.

Man, I never get tired of seeing the work that goes into bringing back the life to the vehicles you work on. When I saw the foam hit that car body I knew it was going to be good.

Finally finished watching the video.

That's a beautiful vehicle especially in its current state. All I'd do it remove the excessive rust and patina the rest. Great job!!!!

It is really nice and enjoyable to see those classic cars and trucks washed and detailed

My best friend had a 73 “Gold Duster” back in the day. Great cars. You didn’t mention it, but one cool feature was the lay down back seat. I don’t know why more manufacturers didn’t embrace this feature.

As for the color, the owner should definitely keep it. Old school!

Hello Mitch: Lovely job done on a lovely car. I agree with you, that the owner should get it running and enjoy it for the Summer. Have a restful weekend.
