USA, Taiwan in a fix; How China’s YJ-12 supersonic missile can breach their military barriers

Taiwan worries that China's YJ-12 anti-ship missiles pose a direct threat to aircraft carrier strike groups. The YJ-12 has an advantage over the air defence systems on the U.S. warships. As per the U.S. Department of Defence, China has different variants of YJ-12 anti-ship cruise missile. China has deployed the YJ-12 to the shoreline and artificial islands in the South China Sea.

India has Brahmos and Russia also has a own version of Brahmos, Now China also 'claimed' to have supersonic cruise missile. But why even after having such a large defense budget US does not have a proper supersonic missile or capable Air Defense systems? Although US & Israel have Arrow-3, David's Sling but all these are inferior to S-400.

Idk where people are getting their info of the YJ-12 from, but I need to remind you guys that this is the same country who believed their JF-17 could take on the Rafale. Until it actually did, and got CLAPPED, and Pakistan had to go buy J-10C. This is the same country which, for some reason, keeps changing the specs of their military equipment on a regular basis on public forums. Also, the US has ELEVEN carrier groups, with another nine planned. Three of them are already close to China. Each Nimitz class carries AT LEAST 85 aircraft at once. At least half of them are F/A-18 Hornets and Super Hornets. They carry AIM120 AMRAAMS, paired with an AESA radar that has a range of 150km. The carriers also have AWACS which can easily detect this hundreds of kilometers out. Good luck trying to get those bombers close to the carrier group when they have an RCS as big as Jinping's fat mum. They're basically AMRAAM food.

all this country has is Brahmos, and boasted it all the time, they do not know much about YJ 12 which China has for a long time, people in this country always say Brahmos is fastest cruise missile, they do not know JY 12 got Mach 4, Brahos only Mach 3, if they say nothing can intercept Brahmos at M3, then how about YJ 12 at Mach 4??? Brahmos with range of 290 km, YJ 12 with range over 400 km.
besides China's antiship ballistic missile (DF 21D), and hypersonic missile (DF-17), China can use a combination of fighters, such as J20 and J16 D to fight FA 18 and F35, at the same, to cover for H6K to each carry 12 YJ 12 to attack US aircraft carrier strike group. Taiwan is only 200 km from mainland, China, it is high dangerous for US air craft carriers to get close to 1000 km to China, but F35 and FA 18's fighting radium is only 750 km.
more difficult is Taiwan with wide of 200 km, for US to interfere PLA crossing TW strait that added another 200 km so total will be 400 km, the antiship missile range from air is LRASM has a range of 300 nmi (560 km), that means FA 18 needs to fly to about 200 km to TW, :)) they cannot survive with China's jets fighting them.

Honestly stop worrying about what USAF is worried about, they are more than capable to deal with this, its China that is sweating bullets right now.
