The card shuffler doesn't "shuffle well", it does a very predictable pharaoh's shuffle, which is one card from left, one card from right, etc. If you do it I think 6 or 8 times the cards end up in the same exact order. If you know how many times it has been passed through you can even predict what the next cards will be.

Fun fact if you ever want to prank someone: if you reverse the polarity of the batteries in a card shuffler, they will spit the cards outward instead of inward. Found this out when i bought a shuffler from the thrift store and put the batteries in wrong. Thought it was broken but my uncle who worked at Radio Shack showed us the battery trick. I thought he was kidding but nope, flipping the batteries around fixed it.

I buy a bag of 50 12 mm rings from a crafting store for $3 and they work perfectly for hanging 4 or 5 blouses or shirts at a time
