They've definitely destroyed any chances of bringing home that gold medal, when they chose snubbing Caitlin Clark, out of racist, heterophobic insecurities. Team USA deserves the abysmal failure, that they've earned.

I heard the reasons why she wasn’t selected, but the facts and records broken prove otherwise so it’s a blatant lie to cover up the jealousy rampant in the WMBA. This league made sure to stick it to Caitlin every chance they got. They knew she was the number one 2024 pick in the draft, so they made sure that the last place team that picked her had the toughest teams scheduled to play that team. They picked the Olympic Team USA roster I month early before the other countries and just said she wasn’t playing good at that time, then came back and said based on her recent play she would have been highly considered. It’s obvious that they put a “hit” against her with those unprovoked cheap shots that would get a men’s NBA player ejected, but gets dismissed against Caitlin. Meanwhile at the Olympics the top “Team USA” has to sell discounted tickets just to fill the seats. The fact is Women that are holding back the WMBA not the men. The NBA should stop sending the 15 million each year to subsidize the loosing profits of the WMBA if they can’t understand the power of star power. Bird and Magic showed how it’s done and now they have Caitlin and Angel and didn’t take advantage of that. How stupid!

They aren't going to call up Caitland now. Too much has been made of the fact she was left off the roster. She'd lose face if she called her, or anyone for that matter. But I agree, she should have chosen a more conventional point guard, to guide the team. The other 4 players would work better together as a team. Oh well, just make the most of it, is going to be her attitude.
