This was awesome ! I had a hard to on the arithmetic reasoning portion of the asvab . I guess taking 4 years off from looking at a single math problem took a toll. This helped a lot !

Great lesson !!

Another way for who’s ever interested, when you put the equation together instead of multiplying 706-9%(706), you can just multiply by the percent you receive back. If you get 9% off, then you keep 91% so it could also be (706(0.91)-55)/3.

Just some intuitive manipulation.
