How To Setup Blue Yeti Microphone With Mac - Beginner's Guide (M1 macOS 11 Big Sur)

This is a very simple beginner's guide to using the Blue Yeti microphone on the Mac. This guide should work for any modern Mac computer, I'm recording this on my MacBook Air M1 2020. No drivers or software are required, you it is plug and play on macOS.

I honestly don't know how your Blue Yeti is working so well with your M1 MBA. I have an M1 MBP and for my Blue Yeti X to produce the good sound I have to plug in the microphone and restart the computer in order for the microphone to work properly.

Yeti is connected to Mac but on sound settings, the yeti is not shown there

My mic is plugged in, the mic's red light is on indicating that it's working, but when I go to sound inputs the mic is not there. How do I make my Mac detect the microphone?
