For ✨ Day 5 ✨ of our State Fair series, we're squeezing the day and making the BEST homemade shaken lemonade!
Now, this isn't your average lemonade. Sometimes called a lemon shake-up, this refreshing drink is much more concentrated than everyday lemonade because you're using less water AND the entire lemon to get that zesty flavor you know and love!
You can adjust the sweetness to your liking (state fairs use lots of sugar) and PRO TIP: It's even better when you let it sit in the fridge to marinate in all the zesty lemons.
When you shake everything up, you're left with a chilled blend of lemony goodness that'll give you nostalgia in every sip. It's the ultimate summertime drink, in my opinion!
WHAT YOU NEED
✔️ Fresh lemon slices
✔️ Granulated sugar
✔️ Water
✔️ Ice
✔️ Strawberries or raspberries (optional, but fun for different flavors!)
(Also good with flavor enhancers, those little squirty things ya know?)
