MIUI 9 is available for selected Xiaomi Devices. And today in this video we will show you how to install the MIUI 9 Global Beta version without losing data and We will also show you best new features and first look of the MIUI 9 (7.8.10 beta)

We will be using the Redmi Note 4 which is on the Stable MIUI 8.

MIUI Backup Process
——————————————
1. Go to Settings - Additional Settings
2. Choose Backup & Reset option.
3. Choose Local backups option.
4. Tap on Back up option.
5. Choose options for backup.
6. tap on backup button.
7. All Done.
Don’t forget to transfer the backup folder Storage/MIUI/backup/AllBackup/ to a PC or OTG Pendrive.

Restore Process
—————————————
1. Transfer the Backup files to Storage/MIUI/backup/AllBackup/
2. Go to Settings - Additional Settings.
3. Choose Backup & Reset option.
4. Choose Local backups option.
5. Here you got a list of your previous backup. Choose one of them.
6. Tap on Restore button.
7. All Done.

I have tried this several times i.e. more than 5 times in past one week and I did this today too

When I update phone with downloaded ROM, while downloading for 20 %, it says "download.zip failed as verification failed"

can you help?

I downloaded the update through the updater app, decrypted it and then rebooted it to apply miui9 but didn't work, the device is still running on miui 8.5.8.0

I did backup and upgrade my RN4 as I always do.
but after upgrade to MIUI 9, I restore the data but I didn't got my app data back. the apps were there but no data found.
this was the first time I loose my data by native backup.
