Thank you for doing reviews on prepackaged raw food. I want to do diy and one day I will but with taking care of my mom im just to tired I do try and give them some stuff to try once in awhile. This week was duck neck my dog ate it no problem, but my moms dog wanted to hide it.

I had a bad experience with viva raw, I signed up my dog that weighs 15lbs and they recommend 8oz per day. I don't know what went wrong but my dog lost a lot of weight, his spine and hip bones showed disturbingly and even the vets were concerned as to why he lost so much weight. His coat dulled and started to fall also. I had him on vivas rabbit, turkey, beef, and chicken. At the end he looked awful and weighed 11lbs. 4 lbs for a small dog is a lot! Especially in just 3 weeks. As soon as I got him off raw and back to kibble he gained his weight all back. Is raw just not for every dog?

I would order it it didn’t require me to get a minimum of 10lbs. I would’ve at least liked to just try it a few days to make sure puppy doesn’t get upset tummy or diarrhea.

we got scared of giving our 2 year old aussie too many bully sticks and treats when she went to er vet w pancreatitis. we had to put her on a diet. and also she had diarrhea more . so we went off kibble and did cooked food. we dont give so many treats no bully sticks and train w less treats. im even afraid to give her the liver bits. she seems to have a sensitive stomach but we would like her to maybe try raw

Is it ok with 8 weeks old golden doodle puppy? I am planning to start with premade raw for first month or 2 and then move to DIY. Do you have any suggestions to add supplements and raw bone to try out in addition to this ? It will be my first experience with raw food and puppy.

I am think to start it for my dog and 3 cats.but because of my dog is over 100lb giant breed and I have many cats, Idk is any venefit but I want to feed maybe 25-50% raw.

My 9 month old bullmastiff and 11 week old boxer both eat viva. We love it, but they keep raising their prices which I’m not a fan of.

Their adult formal for beef is incorrect. They were labeling it as 11% fat on their food but 9% on their website. It has made me upset as we have been struggling to understand why our dog was losing weight. Their food is also inconsistent in mixing as I have found only certain areas with high veggie and fruit. I had high hopes for this brand but I feel they were deceitful and as a consequence my dog is too thin. Customer support has been helpful in providing me with reasons to stay away from this brand.
