I have a theory
You know how Amanda had wooly on the operating table saying there was “something wrong with his head” (The first actual game I believe) I have a theory that she possibly made wooly into one of those monsters because she wanted him to feel the pain too?

Maybe in the broken tape that guilt is getting to Amanda when she starts screaming while wooly is T-posing in the background also the Amanda monster when it sees the wooly plushie it screams and runs off

Also at the start of one of the tapes you see the same operator lights maybe it’s from woolys perspective of him waking up and feeling “Different”

Also When you type “Scary” Or “horror” for the Storytime part you see images shown up followed by wooly screaming “NO!”

That is my theory though 👍
Edit: Also Amanda’s gloves when the shovel is broken the same ones she wore while operating on Wooly were clean before but when you see them in that tape they are all bloody
Meaning Amanda most definitely did something to him

My theory is that they are two separate beings because in a tape were Amanda was bored and felt weird she told her entity to stop and i believe it is the same for wooly maybe all characters in Amanda the adventurer have there own entity maybe in Amanda the adventurer 3 the meatman entity will show up cause we already know that the opasum is Jordan maybe he has his own entity two

I don't think so. In ATA2, Amanda TALKS to her monster form, meaning she isn't part of it. She gets it to not kill us, and I think this is the same for Wooly. Like the system or something takes these characters and basically copy-and-pastes it into the real world, except that they are more monstrous. I just don't wanna think that he's evil. He's just too pure. 😭

Theory: the monsters arent amanda and wooly controlling them (shows during the knight tape) she tells the beast to wait and not kill riley showing they just protect them and the tapes nightmare wooly probably protects the tapes and the amanda beast protects amanda herself.

I have a theory
Wooly was the first one to get in thats why he gave up on getting out and always followed the script. Maybe because if he got out of script there is a punishment like the one that we see on the we can fix it tape. Now he follows hameln in hopes that if the deed is done, there will be no pain. Maybe he believes that its even better there than the real world. That is why when amanda and the opossum were panicking while sinking in the corrupted tape, wooly was smiling.

So if that is the case, he will do anything to protect the tapes. That is why he aggressively killed joanne at the end.

Maybe that wasnt even wooly, maybe another entity that follows him...

Honestly I believe that the monster wooly and Amanda are completely different from the ones in the show. I think the show ones are trying to help you and the monsters are just other creatures that may just want to help Amanda like how the monster Amanda was protecting the tapes maybe it’s because smashing the tapes could hurt Amanda and Wooly

Context: Amanda was a small child that voice acted/ played as amanda, and her dad, Sam colton. Was the one who was directing the flim and the one who made it, Hameln took over, and forced Amanda's dad to sign a contract, and that contract is very important to decide who is in charge of the show. So they forced him to say that they were the ones in charge. And they started a cult which was around since the middle ages, as seen in secret tapes in the sequel, they did some tests on amanda, performing horrible rituals, transforming her into the monster she is, wooly, was normal.in the first episodes, but in the true ending he butchered Joanne/ masked person a horrible way, so he got performed on and the same happened, Hameln made some cursed tapes that the characters inside can see u, hear u, and know ur information if u watch them, masked person told riley to destroy them, but Amanda's counterpart killed her for destroying one of the tapes, riley escaped by hiding in a bunker that was Kate/Amanda's aunt's property, she died due to a car crash for unknown reason, stating that Joanne/masked person is dead, but she wasnt, she was hiding her identity, so amanda won't suspect her of anything, she plans to take down hameln, but died in 2 endings. Amanda's, father, Sam colton is held hostage, Rebecca/ amandas mother, is also believing that amanda is trapped inside the tv, which is true, but Peter, basically the expertise in solving cases like this, wouldnt believe her. So they are solving the mystery and hopefully we will solve the clues in amanda the adventurer(3)

Nightmare wooly noise is the same noise that was made when the nightmare Amanda ripped up the wooly pulshy and nm Amanda looks confused or concerned

Someone else has probably pointed this out already, but I noticed how the monster version of Wooly has some eyes with pupils while the monster version of Amanda has eyes with no pupils. Also, Wooly’s eyes specifically have rectangle pupils, which are the type of pupils sheep have instead of circular ones, so I thought that was a cool detail.

I have a theory, that at the end of chapter 1 Wooly was mutated by Amanda, which would explain it.
