Even though I attend a Christian University, There was still difficulty presenting the idea of one human race in my sociology class this year. having a discussion on the topic of "Will white people ever understand the social difficulties of black people", I found that my generation has been constantly bombarded with the idea of cultural differences. It use to be that in an American history class, America was viewed as a great melting pot, there were many ethnicities all joking together to be the American people. There has been a shift from that view to a view of a Mosaic painting. now this is similar, but instead of joining together and becoming one society, each individual represents one spot in the great picture of America.

Either way, I still stand by the idea that the only way to eliminate hatred (racism) is through not identifying who we are as individuals but joining together as one catholic (universal) church rooted in the Bible.

I think the main problem that people have with that theory is that it seeks to eliminate a view of ethnicity. While I take the stance known as "color blind", that argument is instantly rejected because there is an automatic assumption that we make decisions based on the appearance and skin color. Now even if this is true and we do make prejudgments based on skin color, we all have the ability to train ourselves to view each and every person just like God does, with unconditional love. I am not saying we will do it perfectly, that is not our job. that is the work of the Holy Spirit through sanctification. That is God working to change our hearts to be more like his. That is what I want to see in the upcoming generations.

Say...do you know of a decent church in Portland, OR? As a Lyft driver here, I serve the hopelessly lost fifty times a day--and can often sneak in a word about Christ and get away with it. But my church died. Most churches here are now dead. We're as post-Christian as Europe. Portland is Havana and Amsterdam rolled into one. I need a good church again.

Man, just some constructive criticism here, I love what you do but you are not a standup comedian - your strength lies in defending Christianity - I love comedy, too, but I feel the jokes are predictable and not very funny to me. I hope you only take this as an opportunity to get direct feedback, rather than slander. Like I said, I think you are doing the Lord's work and I think we can all learn from your unique arguments.
