For the potato chips, soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for about 30 minutes then drain and dry with paper towels before frying or air frying. It gets the starch out so the chips get crispy.

Great dinner ideas! We love chicken salads and eat them a few times a week in the summer. Yum! I've never heard of cooking green beans that long....I'm going to have to try that! Loved this video!

The salad looks great! I keep forgetting to try your red macaroni. I just wrote it on my next meal plan so I don't forget. Definitely looks like something my family will love!

Oh we love the "homemade" ranch dressing too. I could eat it with a spoon. I use buttermilk and the buttermilk dressing packets. And Dukes mayo! Hubby's fav. I find that problem a lot with Wal-Mart's packaged salads. My mom made pinto beans all the time from dry, but I always just used the canned ones, until I got my instant pot. Now I make them frequently.

I had a similar salad at Wendy's with apple vingerette. It was so good. Like you I had to come home and re-create it. Yummy!

Try the pork chops by breading them and using milk instead of chicken soup and make a mushroom gravy to pour all over the pork chops and mashed potatoes. We do it all the time and it's YUMMY!

I’m a southern girl born and raised in KY and have never eaten or cooked pinto beans. I’ve been told that makes me unqualified as “Southern” lol. But, I LOVE refried beans! The hubby says it’s the same thing and I know it is but I’ve just never tried them. After seeing yours and Jens cooking I think I’m gonna try them. I guess then I will be true Southern😂 Love your videos and never miss any!!
