I just moved to a nice area in Michigan from Pennsylvania. For identical coverage on the same vehicle with the same company the premiums are astronomical.

Our fine governor, who said she would not side with the insurance special interest groups, in the last minutes, signed billions of dollars over to the insurance companies in doing so. Makes me wonder if she has any new off-shore accounts.

My wife had a serious head injury, from an auto accident covered by State Farm, more than 30 years ago that began with her in a coma. Afterward and to this day she is prescribed 24/7 supervision which State Farm covered (including some law suits for such). I have provided that supervision and more which is noted on the logs that I send in containing a large list of what I provide for her. Am I up 24 hours a day? Of course not, but I doze when she does and being a light sleeper I wake when she begins to stir. That makes me always on call and available.

Out of the blue State Farm dropped supervision coverage to 18/7 and now I hear coverage for family home care will only be 56 hours a week. I spoke with her case manager and told me that with the changes she doubts that home care companies would be likely to come for the other times of the day, again while the insurance companies say that in cases like my wife and others are simply fine at night and have no needs. They already rejected her clonopin, that helps her to be calmer (Otherwise she has episodes that has lasted up to three weeks), because her psychiatrist upped it one tablet to help her handle her cancer treatment. Her case manager said that this was just the beginning!

Gretchen Whitmore, were you properly reimbursed for that signature?

Great to see this MI reform. I know it’s been talked about for years. Curious about your follow up video on the Medicare follow up and that qualifier. Do most health insurers for the most part not pay as primary for auto accidents? Great video!

Question: I have 2 daughters that are considered as drivers on my insurance. My husband name is on their car as cosigner. Will I still be allowed to cover them if they don't live with me but my husband is co-owner of the cars. We are both retired and have Medicare coverage.

So if you have great health insurance from your employer. How/when does that kick in if you chose 250k PIP as an example? If you get in an accident does PIP pay and your regular health insurance not pay?
