Welcome to this English class about the Olympics! I thought since the Olympics have started this would be a great time for an English lesson about the Olympics.

I think the Olympics are a great opportunity to learn some English. You can watch things in your own language and the maybe watch it again in English! In this free English class I'll help you learn words and phrases that you might hear over the next few weeks if you watch the Olympics.

I'll help you learn terms like host city, host country, gold medal, medalist, venue, events, and more! By the time you're done watching this lesson you'll have learned over 40 English words and phrases that we use when we talk about the Olympics!

I hope you enjoy this English lesson about the Olympic games. I also hope you enjoy watching them and remember to watch some of the events in English!
