I think a man with a helmet defending his country should get more money than a man with a helmet defending a ball.

I had the absolute pleasure and honor of being in one of Kristopher Lee's (Marc Lee's brother) classes in college. I always *knew* about the war and knew about the sacrifices and commitment that our military must make day in and day out, yet I never really gripped that idea until I met Kris. He told the story of Marc with such pride and honor, I was so moved by the entire experience.

Chris is absolutely right about Armed Forces Recruiters. I also chose the Navy, because the Air Force said i wasn't smart enough and the Marines and Army just wanted to be my friend. The Navy Recruiter told and showed me how to advance even before I even went to Basic Training. I liked that. Chief Joy. But the others were like "Used Car Salesmen". I did serve on 4 ships and loved it! I wasn't a Seal or sniper, but I was on the very first VBSS (Visiting Board Search & Seizure) team in '92 aboard the USS Comstock (LSD-45). This program was a spin-off of the Navy Seals. They just didn't want those duties anymore. So the Navy developed the VBSS Teams. I served proudly from '84-'02

RIP Mr. Kyle, My deepest gratitude for the liberties that you, your family and your fellow soldiers afford us Americans, even the garbage who speak against you and our country.
You will always be known and remembered as a true American Hero!
God Bless Sir!
