I’m a Brit, ex-military myself, nothing special just did my time. But by my doing what was asked of me when I could I recognise 50 years later that it was my service that counted. We may not all be able to live a military life the likes of which create Chief Chris Kyle, but it’s is with out doubt the inspiration that people like Chief Kyle provide that makes the world a safer place through those 1, 000’s of military service men and women who equally when called do their best to keep people safe in their beds.
In years to come people ordinary people will remember Chief Kyle’s name, they won’t remember mine nor the 1, 000’s of other who also served, but if all it takes is one inspired SEAL to encourage the others, then that will be a life well spent. Thank you for your service Chief Kyle and May you sleep the sleep knowing that you did your duty. RIP.

This was a good interview, I really liked his comments on teaching people to respect guns.  Even though I think gun violence has gotten out of hand, it still gives another side to gun politics.  Not everyone is going to understand what this man has been through or what he's seen, but it's amazing how humble he is in every interview.  rest in peace Chris Kyle.

As a European, im far away from American legends and news and stuff, but Chris Kyle's death was in the news in my country and the movie, later on was also in the news and its only now that i actually got to know who he is and what he did. I can only say that he is a man to be respected for what he did and because he was murdered, he deserves more respect as a deceased person. Also, i feel bad for his family and friends. Let him rest in peace, with Christ and God.
