Originally i thought this man was crazy but then i started university and my professor told the same shit so i came back.

Lol my mans, he got straight facts.

This man is legitimately the best teacher I have ever seen. All the other art channels are like, "all you have to do to improve your art is do your own thing, " and stuff like that, without clarifying what you should do to do your own thing. Ethan is like, "BEFORE YOU DO YOUR OWN THING, you must know this, " and at the beginning, you're like jeez this guy is harsh, but as you keep watching his vids and improving, you realise all he is saying is the truth. And since the truth can hurt, all the other channels baby you. And since those channels care more about how you feel than your improvement, they fail at teaching you what you need to know, but not Ethan. He knows that what you need to improve is the truth, even if it is harsh. That's what a good teacher does. They tell you truth, even if it's not what you want to hear, because that's how you will improve. Knowing what you did wrong is what you need to improve, because if you don't know what you did wrong, you will never fix it.
