UC Admissions CHANGED!!! A ton of students this year got rejected from University of California schools, who normally should’ve gotten in. We don’t know exactly why this is happening, but if I had to guess it’s probably because the admissions offices have to crack down on students who may not have strong enough academics to handle UC classes. So, if you’re a sophomore or junior preparing for the next admission cycle, make sure that you’ve taken enough AP and IB classes so you can report those scores on your application and join academic competitions because UC Colleges will be looking for those awards as indicators of classroom performance.
