Main Battle Theme- Final Fantasy VI Advance HQ OST
Показать описание
The standard battle theme, often considered one of the most iconic and catchy of the battle themes in all of Final Fantasy. It has to be, considering you're going to hear this thing A LOT of the time. I'm pleased with how this came out, it's even more hectic and tense than the original I feel.
These are remastered tracks, taken from the Gameboy Advance port of Final Fantasy VI/III originally in the US. Since no one up to date has uploaded a truly hq presentation of the soundtrack, I've taken it upon myself to do just that.
Using GBAMusicripper I've extracted the system's native soundfont, resampled the instruments to midis ripped from the rom, and encoded at 320KBPS. This has the benefit of removing all audible defects native to the console's limitations, including crackles, static, and clipping, so that those interested can hear the music as it was originally intended and in the highest quality possible.
The vast majority of tracks have been left untouched, though there are a handful that I've edited, usually to fix up instrument volume and cases where too much sound has been blurred together. I stress that I have not changed any instrument, note, or pitch to those few tracks, but aimed to rebalance the featured sounds so that all may be clearly heard. Those that have been thus changed shall be duly noted when uploaded.
In my personal opinion, many tracks have been improved in some aspect from the original Super Nintendo, some average out to a similar quality, and some come out worse than the source tune. Though of course, I leave it to the listener to decide which, if any, are found to be more or less enjoyable.
