Got a 1922 No D for 4 Cents in a Mixed Wheat bin. Had it slabbed and was a Strong Reverse variety.

Okay, How could the file it down when both dies are actually negatives! This means that when the dies hit the planchet the pressure causes the metal to flow into the “D” of the die. So if some one brushed off the “D” you would have a raised are which is also know as a CUD!

Mine has a big middle finger mint mark lol. I cant seem to ever get lucky on these varieties. I guess its like they say....rare means you most likely dont and never will possess one.
